Local traditions, ingredients, culture, & music were my inspiration for this project. I reached out to musician Wayne Toups to see if I could incorporate some of his lyrics to “2 step Mamou” into my design & he not only said yes but also joined us for our group photo (how cool of him)! Lyrics below…
