Lake Charles, LA
I’m a digital illustrator so I use that to create just about everything! I have posters, enamel pins, stickers, art prints, shirts, and I’m sure other things I’m forgetting! Most of my work features Louisiana themes and pop culture.
Full time
Colorful, Fun, retro/vintage
My day usually starts with working out, unless it's a rest day. If I have orders waiting, I'll get them packed up and ready to ship. I almost always go to the thrift store first to see if I can find any treasures. After thrifting, I'll head to the post office and probably get coffee on the way. Depending on the time, I might do a bit of skating. After that, it's usually just boring house stuff.
Anything in the teal/mint/aqua family
My favorite compliment to receive is: “That’s so retro!" or “It looks so vintage!” I get that often and it nice because that’s always what I’m going for.
I don’t know why, but since my early days in design, I’ve always wanted to do an editorial illustration.
Hopefully “fun”!
Don’t listen to the awful things your brain says about you.
Not having to work for someone else and not having to leave my house if I don't want to. I have the freedom to basically do whatever I want, when I want. I love that I get to be creative for a living! It's the best.
The most challenging part at the moment is trying to navigate the world of social media. Specifically, trying to find and retain an audience without having do silly dances and point at words. You know what I mean.
