Lafayette, LA
I make anything that is related to Louisiana. From printed fabrics to parish puzzles, I celebrate the local culture & people. As long as my clients are happy, that makes me happy.
I only do this part time, I am an Assistant Visiting Professor at UL Lafayette School of Architecture and Design where I teach the beginning design sequence (Architecture, Industrial and Interior Design) as well as some of the Industrial Design studios and classes.
Laser cut, Louisiana, Scandinavian
I usually have a multitude of projects going on at once and I bounce between them a lot. Currently I am working on a lighting design and a few larger wooden bag ideas to name a few. I teach design at UL Lafayette so I am constantly being inspired by the young talent. I am lucky to have two of the most creative jobs I could have ever imagined.
Absolutely Fuchsia. The main wall of my office is painted this color and it is the first thing people see when they enter Fletcher Hall by my office.

My daughters creative mind and a clean house.
I am originally from Finland but have living in Louisiana the past 21 years. I bring my Louisiana roots along with a history of Scandinavian design aesthetic into all I create. The love and care people in Louisiana show to each other is something I have never experienced anywhere else.
Definitely the freedom/ability to try new things and experiment with new techniques. The only restriction currently is time.
Not getting stuck in a rut… doing the same things over and over.
